Yuki manages to remember Yuno and escape from the illusory world, releasing in the process the Murmur of his world, which had been trapped by her self from the first world to imitate her. Faced with Yuki's love and the united family of the other Yuno, Yuno's resolve to kill them all falters, and she decides to take her own life. A horrified Yuki is declared the winner of the survival game by the Murmur of his world and is taken away through a vortex. 10,000 years later, Yuki still mourns Yuno's death in his now empty universe, refusing to create anything. At the end of the episode, the last entry in his journal changes from "Yuno is dead" to "Yuno came to see me," and her voice is heard calling his name.
